AN IDEAL UNIVERCITY

A university  is like a world dreamed by  students. But not all universities are in the same stuation. There are common characteristics that many of the students think an ideal university should have. In my opinion, one of the these charactaristics is good education. People expect to be educated

 well firstly and they need successful and tolerant teachers in their schools.

Secondly; Affordable Life. Transportation, sheltering,culturel activities and meal expenses should be affordable for students. Life should not be expensive so students from different social statues do not have difficulty.

One of the most important characteristics of an ideal university is a good campus. I think METU's campus is the best in Turkey. We can find whatever we want in campus. We have gym, swimming pool, library and Çarşı. There are so many clups, communuties and sport teams here.

THE UNIVERSITY OF MY DREAM

Being a student at METU was something that I always dreamed about. I had a lot of reasons to    choose METU. Firstly its great campus appealed me most. No traffic, no buildings except for faculities dorms etc. It is away from city and a world itself. Students have gyms, swimming pools, library and çarşı where he/she can find what he/she wants. Secondly METU gives us oppurtunities to improve ourselves both  socially and personally.There are a lot of social clups,communities, sport clups and teams. Everybody can easily find an event for her or his interests. For example; I attend to ultimate frisbee trainings in tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays, sundays and  watch movies in wednesdays with cinema clup every week. If I had more time I would attend other clups and teams. However, I face some challanges here like nearly all of the students do. First of all I miss my family very much so I often goes to Istanbul and it tires me sometimes. Another challange is dorm life. I stay with three other people. Even if I like them, it is hard to live with other people in a small room. Nevertheless, I get used to these stuations because it is my second year here so I do not have any new comers' problem. To sum up; I love METU! I brain METU! My unıversity dream came true. I am happy to be here  and I enjoy it.
