THE FIRE OF ANATOLİA

After I made a presentation in Turkish class, I became very interested in this dance group. The Fire of Anatolia is a Turkish dance group consisting of 120 dancer. Former name of the  group is Sultans of the Dance. Mustafa  Erdoğan is the head of the The Fire of Anatolia. It was his dream for a long time. Finally, in 1999, his dream came true.  He established a group which performs Anatolian dances mixed with  balet and modern dance. After working on their physical and dance abilities, they started to perform their shows in 2001. The group has performed in more than 85 countries. The Fire of Anatolia holds Two Guinness records. It has 87 awards from various competitions. I think this group is one the most successful dance groups in the world. They show our culture to the world. They perform almost all countries to indicate Anatolian history and culture. The topics of performances  are legends generally like Troya. With beauty of the dance and music, they show our  culture to all people.

                                         BLUE  MONDAY

       28.01.2013   Today is the most depressing day of the year.

It is said that there is a day which is most depressing day of the year.It is calculated by using may factors, including; weather conditions, debt level, time since Christmas, time since failing our new year’s resolutions, low motivational levels and feeling of a need to take action. In my opinion, of course it is not the most depressing day of the year scientifically. A few years ago, Sky Travel tried to encourage people to take a January break. An academic called Cliff Arnall agreed to do so. Blue Monday come from the word ‘blues’ meaning depression. This morning I have read an article about Blue Monday. Some experts investigate some factors which may fell people happy this day such as finding money, playing with dogs, eating chocolate and looking baby pictures. There is also a song about Blue Monday. I think it is a nice song; Blue Monday, New Order.

       I really like this song very much. It is so interesting and funny that I watch it over and over again. In my opinion, as much as its lyrics, the cartoon is also very nice. I still cannot help smiling when I am watching the video. I enjoy the love between the boy and girl. He devotes himself to make happy the girl and she is pretty happy from this relationship. She likes being his interest  The boy tries to do  everything that make the girl comfortable.I think they are not only lovers but also great friends. They are like sister and brother at the same time.  As soon as I watched, I said ‘ I want  it too! I want a relationship like that!’ J  Apart from all pf these, there is only  one problem in this song; it is too short. 

The singer of this song is Adam SANDLER. He was always my favourite actor and after I watched that, he became one of my favourite singers. He is talented as both an actor and a singer. I appreciate his works. He is in cinema, theatre and music.There are many song which belong to him. Recommending you to listen and watch the song, I wish a love like that for all of us. J

VIDEO REFLECTION 1

     Johnny BRAVO!! I do love him. He is so cute and handsome. For many years, I cannot understand the reason why girls do not want him. If I were a character in the cartoon, I would be his biggest  fan.  Or  if he were a real man, I would find him J It would be very enjoyable to be together with a man like Johnny Bravo. He is extremely boastful. Nevertheless, pride is himself indeed. I enjoy watching him.  Although the whole show is about a man who tries to be with women, I think it is a creative cartoon because it does not bore me.  Watching Johnny is like watching  Tom & Jerry. We know Tom never catches Jerry but we always have hope. Similarly, girls never like Johnny but we still hope that he will be successful one day. I suggest you to watch this cartoon serial. I am sure you  will like his self-confidence in spite of his numerous failures.

There are a lot of  characters in this cartoon.  Of course, Johnny is the main character.  All of us know know him. There are some other characters apart from Johnny.

1)    Bunny ‘Momma’ Bravo. Johnny’s mother. The show portrays her as a calm, nurturing woman. He is dedicated to her son but she does not treat him and his problems seriously because she is aware of his ow intelligence and desire for women.

2)    Little Suzy. A little red –haired girl from neighborhood. She is very intelligent and talkative.

3)    Carl Shocker. A local nerd. He is very annoying. Although Carl is extremely intelligent, he is Johnny’s best friend.

4)    Pops.  He always gives advice to Johnny. His advices are always useless.

                                      KEREBİÇ

Kerebiç is a Turkısh dessert which is famous in Mersin. It has a unique flavour, which gives pleasure to people tasting it. It is widely consumed in religious festivals. The secret of inimitable taste of this dessert is the Çöven root ( soupwort root ). We plan to market this product to France. We believe that Kerebiç will be in a huge demand in France soon because French people are keen on sweet products. We aim to attract them by introducing new tastes such as pistachio and almond. Although cheese is not involved in this dessert, we will use some in its cream, because the French like and consume cheese very much. We will use some techniques to make our product well-known all around the country. Firstly, we will offer the dessert for free at several occasions such as wedding ceremonies, festivals and important meetings. Secondly, we will allocate a considerable amount of money to advertise our product on billboards and tv. We estimate that Kerebiç will be popular in a few months in France provided that we follow these steps. For the debut of Kerebiç, we agreed on a very reasonable price- 9,99 Euro. Our product is intended for the people of all ages. We hope that everybody in France will enjoy Kerebiç from the age of 7 to 70. We found a slogan for our  product, which is THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF FRENCH CHEESE AND TURKS' KEREBİÇ.

 5 water glasses of powdered sugar

  FOR THE COOKIES

 1 tea cup of vegetable oil

 100 gr melted margarine 

 1 tea cup of powdered sugar

 2 eggs

 1/2 tea cup of farina
