THE UNIVERSITY OF MY DREAM
Being a student at METU was something that
I always dreamed about. I had a lot of reasons to choose
METU. Firstly its great campus appealed me most. No traffic, no buildings
except for faculities dorms etc. It is away from city and a world itself. Students
have gyms, swimming pools, library and çarşı where he/she can find what he/she
wants. Secondly METU gives us oppurtunities to improve ourselves both socially
and personally.There are a lot of social clups,communities, sport clups and
teams. Everybody can easily find an event for her or his interests. For
example; I attend to ultimate frisbee trainings in tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays,
sundays and watch movies in wednesdays with cinema clup every week.
If I had more time I would attend other clups and teams. However, I face some
challanges here like nearly all of the students do. First of all I miss my
family very much so I often goes to Istanbul and it tires me sometimes.
Another challange is dorm life. I stay with three other people. Even if I
like them, it is hard to live with other people in a small room. Nevertheless,
I get used to these stuations because it is my second year here so I do not
have any new comers' problem. To sum up; I love METU! I brain METU! My
unıversity dream came true. I am happy to be here and I enjoy it.

YanıtlaSilI really liked reading your journal. I understood that you really wanted to study in Metu like me. I also dreamed about being in Metu. You mentioned almost every opportunity METU offers from clubs to faculty. It is your second year like me and I know you are not going through any adaptation process for the time being, but you could write about and inform us what you got through in your first year. I really liked organization of your paragraph. There are not any grammatical mistakes. However, there are some spelling mistakes. Also, I recommend you to change your writing style, font and size. While I was reading your journal, I really had a hard time. Although it was organized in a fluent way, it really frazzled my eyes. In brief, your paragraph is well-organized and its content is really good. I really enjoyed reading it and I look forward to reading your other journals. :)
